The Future of AI Art

AI is going mainstream. Whether it’s ChatGPT or MidJourney, everyone is obsessing about this revolutionary technology. Some people are terribly concerned about losing their jobs! “The robots will replace us!” is commonly heard.

I get it. Disruptive technologies often cause disruptions to our societies and livelihoods. Illustrators are nervous MidJourney makes their work obsolete. Writers feel ChatGPT will make their work redundant.

I’m not here to dismiss these concerns. In fact, I believe our entire economic model might need to be rebuilt at some point in the future because the whole concept of scarcity will become obsolete! Disruptive technologies will usher in a world of abundance: infinite energy, an intelligence explosion, biotechnological interventions. The sky is the limit!

So here’s an invitation to imagine something beyond your anxious-filled apprehension.

Imagine a world of pure imagination, freed from all shackles, shrinking the lag time between what we imagine and what we create…
